1 · Split collar

Replaces the one-piece nut

The problem

The nut that holds the hose onto the pool wall fitting is a closed ring. Once the line is assembled, replacing a cracked or lost one means taking the whole plumbing apart — or cutting the pipe.

The part

The same thread, but split into two half-shells with flanges. You slide them around the pipe where it already sits and screw the two halves together.

Result

It clamps onto the existing hose and screws onto the wall fitting like the original. Fitted on the pool and holding, as shown in the last photo.

2 · Ø50 PVC adapter

Rigid PVC onto the Intex union

The problem

The pool union nut is made for the Intex hose. Nothing in it takes standard rigid PVC, the pipe you actually want if you are plumbing the line properly.

The part

A sleeve with a shoulder: the shoulder is captured inside the Intex union nut, the body slides into a standard Ø50 PVC socket.

Result

A PVC elbow screws onto the pool fitting through the nut, with no glue joint improvised on the pool side.

ASA · Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro

Material and temperatures

ASA, nozzle at 250 °C (255 °C on the first layer), bed at 100 °C (105 °C first layer), part cooling fan off — ASA warps and delaminates if you blow on it.

Layers and walls

0.15 mm layers, 1.6 mm walls and 40 % gyroid infill. These parts are threaded and take the load of a water line, so they are printed solid enough to be tapped and tightened.

Speed and adhesion

45 mm/s, 18 mm/s on the first layer, 35 mm/s on top and bottom surfaces. An 8 mm brim on the outside keeps the ring flat on the bed.
